Delivery Details
We serve most areas with regular two day a week service. Your order is delivered on the next regularly schedule service day after pick up. Since service days vary by area, after registering we will email you with your service days. Certain items, like large household goods, alterations, and shoe repairs, take a little longer. You don't need to be home for either pick-ups or deliveries.
Special pick-ups and deliveries are available on any weekday for a small additional charge ($3.99). If we miss a pick up or delivery on a regularly scheduled day, we will schedule a special pick up or delivery as needed at no charge.
If you anticipate being a frequent customer (at least once every two weeks) we place your home on a regularly scheduled route. We will send you an email reminder prior to each pick up day. All you have to do is put your bag out at your designated pick up location and our representative will drive by and look for it.
If you anticipate or end up being a less frequent customer (less than once every two weeks) or your home is located somewhat distant from a regular route, your status will be "will call". As a will call customer, we will send you an email reminder that contains a single button that you click in order to have us make a pick up for that day. You may also order by telephone or sending us an email.
We provide you with personalized laundry bags. If different members of the family have different preferences in the processing of their garments, please let us know and we will give you separate bags that are bar coded to the correct preference account. Unless directed to do otherwise, we install a small brass hook in a mortar joint at your designated delivery location in order to provide a secure place to hang your garments.
Please choose a weather-sheltered location for delivery of your orders. On rare occasions, we postpone deliveries if the weather is so severe that it threatens the safety of your items or our drivers. If your laundry bag is in a place where it may get wet on a rainy day, please secure your garments by placing them inside an inner plastic bags (a trash bag works well) so they will not be subject to possible shrinkage from excess moisture.
All charges are made to your open account. You may pay once a month by credit card on file or personal check. A monthly statement is sent to each account with an outstanding balance. If your account is delinquent, payment may be required prior to delivery. |
